Time to take things seriously…
By mid-2021 our weekend hobby of creating the perfect Negroni had grown into a business that demanded proper attention and we were on the lookout for a more suitable place to call home.
Truth be told, the family garage just wasn’t coping any longer and the gentle words of encouragement to find a new place to experiment had been getting a little more assertive…
We were very lucky to find the perfect space for both production and events, right in the heart of Camberwell – a leafy suburb just 10km from Melbourne’s CBD, and a fabulous location from which to build scale and connect with the community.
Channelling our inner Italian!
The warehouse-style space at Railway Parade was formerly a very popular café and continues to operate today as Camberwell’s only coffee roasting business, but a Naples style wood-fired pizzeria.
This was the perfect place not only for us to build a proper barrel aging facility, but to also create a space where we could also open our doors to the public.
A new factory and Negroni Nights
With low lighting, jazz sounds, pizzas, pasta, tasting paddles and blackboard specials, Negroni Nights have been a hit. They give people the opportunity to sample the various Negroni recipes we’ve been experimenting with, whilst catching up with friends in a casual, communal setting that is quite different to what is normally on offer in Camberwell!
These popular evenings sell out quickly and we look forward to making Negroni Nights a more permanent fixture in the calendar.
Come and say Ciao!
We love meeting our customers and if you’d like to come along and say hello, please keep an eye on our events page for details on when the next Negroni Night is being held or better still sign up to our newsletter. Don’t worry, we won’t spam you with offers, but we will let you know if there’s something you need to know.
